Proper manuscript format
For Richard and a conversation that was far more entertaining than Sunday School.

The top bullet: "Ellsworth/Revenge of the Poop/13" is the most important part for those of us with one-year-olds who like to steal pages.

Is Times New Roman a proportional font? I always use that, and I kind of hate Courier. I find it much harder to read than Times New Roman. I guess it's a good thing I'm not planning to submit manuscripts. Unless Times New Roman is a monospaced font, in which case I plan to submit everything I've ever written (including, but not limited to, emails, post-its, and chalk graffiti) as one long manuscript.
Courier is monospaced, and some people in the industry still like it, but you don't ever need to use it.
I'm confused. That link said to use Courier, or a monospaced font. I'm just wondering if Times New Roman is monospaced or proportional, or if it actually matters...? Not like I even need to know this. But now I'm really wondering.
Actually, amend that. You should check to see if the editor or publishing house wants Courier. Some throwbacks do.
